Nursery
Well as most of you know Jacob and I moved back to Guin when I was ~ 33weeks preggo and needless to say it was a bit stressful! The one room that I was in a panic over was sweet Ada Rose's nursery. It is still a work in progress and I still have a few more projects to finish (little more challenging to complete with a 2 month old) but here is what we have completed so far!
View when you walk in the door...best rocker EVER!!!

Her sweet little bed that Aunt Joy so kindly bought for her:)

Busgy!!

As you all know I HATE new furniture. I found this piece at an antique store in Memphis for nearly nothing and Mom and I put our blood, sweat and tears into completing it before the little princess arrived!!

The adorable little flower picture on the wall came from my sweet little cousin Riley! She painted it specially for little Ada Rose...one of my favorite things in her room.

Miss Ada Rose
Ada Rose Jones blessed our lives beyond measure on May 24, 2012 at 5:30pm. She weighted 5lbs 15oz and was 18inches long. Ada was welcomed into the world by an amazing group of friends and family who patiently waited all day for her arrival. Jacob and I could not be more blessed and our lives are forever changed by this little miracle! "Behold children are a heritage from the LORD. The fruit of the womb is HIS reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth."-Psalm 127:3-4
Our first family picture...please excuse me remember it was a LONG day!
First picture with her daddy! Look at that little smile...he is already wrapped around her little tiny finger!

Labor was a very long process for this mama and I could not have done it without my amazing coaches!! Again please excuse me in these pictures...this was after quite a few hours of torture:)
I will try very hard to do better and update about the NEW LIFE as a JONES!

IT'S A GIRL!
So Friday was my 20 week appointment and US. It was the full fetal survey and we were so excited to find out what this little nugget was. The US tech checked all HER little organs, facial features and overall health and size of the baby. Everything looked great and she is growing right on target! About 20 minutes into the ultrasound I asked if she could tell the gender of the baby and she said....you know we have to save the best for last :) and she made us wait even longer! After some views of the little heart and a few angle changes we could clearly see....IT'S A GIRL! We are beyond excited and Jacob is well aware that life as he knows it is OVER :) Jacob will be an amazing daddy and as soon as the book told us the baby could officially hear he began reading to her every night. Please continue to pray for a healthy baby girl and that God will prepare Jacob and I for the biggest honor of our lives....PARENTHOOD!!
Here is a picture of the little sweet girl from Friday

P.S. name coming soon! Its a work in progress!!

Catch Up!
So it has been a very long time since I last update and I promise to TRY and be better! Lots has changed in our life since June. There has been weddings, more weddings and BABIES ON THE WAY! Our first wedding of the summer was Jacob's cousin Chandler in June. He married an amazing woman, Kelli, from South Africa. The wedding was an absolute blast and so amazing to see 2 families from around the world all join together for an amazing celebration! Here are a few pics from the wedding!

In October we had Clayton and Holley's wedding in Tupelo...sorry no pictures from that weekend we left the camera in Memphis! The wedding was amazing and we had so much fun. We always love Tupelo weddings because we get to see all of our pals that we miss oh so much!

As November arrived we were off to Texas for Afton and David's BIG WEEKEND. Being a newly pregnant woman and prone to motion sickness anyway the trip was a bit scary to me. We drove to Little Rock on Thursday, flew to Houston, TX on Friday and then drove 2.5 hours to Austin, TX. Once in Austin we were off on a river boat for a little fun with the wedding party....needless to say I begged the doc for nausea meds to help me live throughout the travels! I am happy to sad God was good and answered all my prayers. I not only lived through the travels but felt just fine in car, plane, and boat!! Afton's new hubby is from England so his guest were amazing to get to know and it was a beautiful weekend. Again sorry for no pictures but Jacob left the camera at the hotel during the wedding:( The picture loving freak in me was very sad to say the least... sorry Afton it is all your brother's fault! Here is the one and only picture I have of the weekend...

I feel like I may have left out a wedding if so and its yours....very sorry. I will catch up on babies in the next post!
